Ollamatch is fundamentally designed to be a completely offline, local AI tool. All data processing, including webpage text extraction, image OCR, PDF resume parsing, and text generation, is routed exclusively to your local machine via a proxy to your local Ollama instance (default: http://localhost:11434).
We do not collect, intercept, store, transmit, or sell any of your user data, browsing history, job application data, or personal PDF resumes to external or developer-owned cloud servers. Your data belongs to you.
Your extension preferences (selected models, prompt templates, and custom endpoint configurations) are saved locally on your device using your browser's native chrome.storage.local API. The extension only accesses the DOM (activeTab) and local files when you explicitly interact with the Ollamatch UI.
